The Registre du Commerce et des Sociétés does not issue Certificates of Good Standing. Instead, they provide an official extract, known as L’extrait Kbis, which summarizes the current information about a company. This document serves as the official and legal proof of a company’s existence in France, offering certified company information.

It is best practise to confirm with the authority that requires the document they will accept the certified extract.

• Authorisation code to validate certificate

The Company Extract can be validated online. To confirm the authenticity of a Certificate of Good Standing, simply enter the authorization code on the Registre du Commerce et des Sociétés website.
