Mexico Company Search Report

We can provide a company search report on companies registered in Mexico, this includes the following information from the Mexico Companies Registry.

The Mexico company search report includes:

Mexican Companies are not required to file accounts with the Companies Registry, so these are not usually available.

In Mexico there is no national registry database, there are 32 States in Mexico with each State has their own databases and searching policies. It assists to know the place where the notarial deed of the company was registered, in order to obtain a company search.

Mexico Company Credit Reports

With a Mexico Company Credit Report we conduct an investigation on the target company, include the latest information on the company held by the Mercantile registry and credit recommendations are included, where financial data has been analysed.

Financial information and latest filed accounts are not available from the Mercantile registry, with the Credit Reports provided we conduct an investigation, if possible interview the target company and request a copy of their management accounts. If this is not made available we request key figures, sales, current assets, current liabilities and profit.

In Mexico there are different types of commercial entities that can be incorporated. The Sociedad de Responsabilidad Limitada (S.R.L) has fixed capital stock and the Sociedad de Responsabilidad Limitada de Capital Variable (S.A) has a combination of both fixed and variable capital stock.

Statutes/ Articles of Association

We can certainly assist you in obtaining the Statutes/ Articles of Association of a company from any of the 32 States. BUT ONLY IF we have a Power of Attorney from the Legal Representative of the Company granted to us, this is due to the Confidentiality Company Statutes in all the Mexican territory.  This requires a personal visit to the registry.

In Mexico, the only parties that can legally get a full copy of the company file are the shareholders, and the notary public that signed the incorporation deed as well as anyone who holds a power of attorney granted by them.

For unrelated parties, you can only obtain an extract of the documents showing essential data according to the registry of commerce. Basically, the information you obtain is who the shareholders are, who the director is, the company’s purpose, who is the notary public that registered the company. The Articles/Statutes are not a part of this essential data.

Mexico Certificate of Incorporation

We can provide a Certificate of Incorporation for any company registered with the Mexican National Business Information Registry.

The Registrar issues a copy or a certified copy Certificate of Incorporation certifying that a company is incorporated under the Corporations Act and:

• Company Number
• Companies Act

The Certificate of Incorporation is conclusive evidence of the formation of a company and be supplied as a copy, certified or apostilled.
